Doug came to NewWave from Booz Allen Hamilton (Booz Allen), where he served as a Principal Director leading system delivery, integration capture, and performance in their Federal Health market. His project management included communicating and coordinating with contractors, collecting and presenting dashboard metrics, system scheduling, large-scale transition, and risk management.
Prior to his support of the MSI contract, Doug performed strategic and tactical systems planning and integration for vital CMS initiatives, including value-based purchasing and clinical quality reporting. As the Program Director of the CMS Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) development team at Telligen, he delivered a Technical Reference Architecture (TRA)-compliant, Affordable Care Act (ACA)-mandated value-based purchasing system. The CMS Technical Review Board and Chief Technology Officer specifically cited the PQRS implementation as a noteworthy example of system delivery and integration.
