NewWave Appoints Kenneth Adams as Executive Vice President of Cyber Security

Elkridge, MD – November 16th, 2018 — NewWave Telecom & Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Partner and top-10 IT consulting firm, is proud to announce new leadership within the company, appointing Kenneth Adams to the role of Executive Vice President of Cyber Security. As the EVP of Cyber Security, Ken will be working in partnership with with NewWave’s CISO and Business Development teams, generating a multi-dimensional cyber security plan. With a background of proven practice development and extensive connectivity to federal and commercial customers, Ken boasts an array of deep relationships ranging from the largest implementers to small businesses. Prior to NewWave, Ken founded KPMG’s Federal Advisory Cyber Practice. As the first federal advisory cyber hire, Ken was responsible for all aspects of establishing and growing KPMG Federal Cyber into a multi-million-dollar practice with capabilities across the spectrum of cyber services. Ken is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and holds a joint degree—J.D. and Master of Public Affairs—from Indiana University, and a B.A. from Bradley University.

Beyond work, Ken enjoys cooking, exercising, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two boys. He volunteers with the Posse Foundation and has served as a volunteer recreational soccer coach.
