In support of its $196 million contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation Center (CMMI), NewWave opens a one-of-a-kind public-private workspace and state-of-the-art team facility.
Elkridge, MD, October 1, 2019 – NewWave Telecom and Technologies, Inc. (“NewWave”), a full-service Information Technology (IT), Business Services and Data Management company, specializing in developing mission-critical Healthcare IT solutions using state-of-the-art technologies, announced today the Grand Opening of its Innovation Conference Center and Windsor Mill Main Campus.
Located at 3200 Lord Baltimore Drive, the Windsor Mill Main Campus is a two-story, 46,281 square foot building featuring 21 offices, 19 scrum rooms, 4 conference rooms, 3 huddle rooms, 280 workstations, 2 kitchens/break-rooms, 2 wellness rooms and a 200-person meeting area. All meeting spaces include leading-edge video conferencing capabilities.
Located at 7265 Windsor Blvd, the Innovation Conference Center is strategically located directly across from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) Innovation Center headquarters and contains 6,000 square feet devoted to the creation of a “badgeless” collaboration work culture between federal stakeholders and NewWave. The Conference Center allows CMS and contractors to work collaboratively together applying modern technologies and development techniques to champion CMMI in their mission to support, test, evaluate, and scale the most innovative and promising payment and healthcare service delivery models in order to achieve better care and reduced cost for beneficiaries of Medicare.
“These really are one-of-a-kind workplaces where the space itself is meant to facilitate and inspire innovation with our federal partners and dedicated employees.” said Ashley Norris, NewWave’s Director of Digital Workplace and Design.
“NewWave is thrilled to partner with CMS and CMMI on this critical effort”, said Patrick Munis, NewWave’s President & CEO. “This is an incredibly important program for CMS as they look to develop next generation healthcare services that better serve the healthcare needs of all Americans. We are proud to bring such a highly skilled team to help CMS and CMMI solve some of their most significant technology challenges.”
From October 7-11, NewWave has daily internal events planned to mark the Grand Opening and welcome all teams into their new home.
