Our approach to cloud migration includes using the 6 R’s (Re-host, Re-platform, Re-factor/Re-architect, Re-purchase, Retire and Retain) of cloud migration to identify the best solution to achieve our client’s goals and execute a smooth switchover with minimal impact to users. For clients wanting a fast migration, we have executed a “lift and shift” strategy (also known as re-hosting). Lift and shift allows us to migrate existing systems and applications to the cloud without significant re-architecting.
