NewWave Appraised at Level 4 for Development of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration

Elkridge, MD — NewWave is happy to announce that we have been appraised at level 4 for development of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. Building on a long history of success using the CMMI model beginning with our first appraisal at maturity level 3 in January of 2013, NewWave has been given the distinction of being one of only three companies in the U.S. that are appraised at both maturity level 4 for both Development and Services.

An appraisal at maturity level 4 signifies that NewWave is performing at a “quantitively managed” level. At this level, we’ve proven to continually mature our processes, establishing quantitative objectives for quality performance. Using a quantitative approach to understand the variation inherent in a process and the causes of process outcomes, we’ve achieved sustainable success adopting the CMMI and proved its capabilities.
