Elkridge, MD – HealthAPT, a joint venture between NewWave and General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), was awarded an $8.8M 5-year contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide full lifecycle operations, operational support, and maintenance support along with the modernization of the Data Extraction System (DESY) and Decision Support Access Facility (DSAF) systems

NewWave and GDIT are established long-term partners to CMS. HealthAPT was formed with NewWave as the Managing Partner in 2015 and successfully launched when awarded a 10-year prime contract to support the CMS Chronic Condition Warehouse (CCW) Virtual Research Data Center (VRDC) initiative.
