Microsoft and NewWave: Built on Partnerships

In his book Hit Refresh: The Quest to Rediscover Microsoft’s Soul and Imagine a Better Future for Everyone, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, made clear that the transformation of Microsoft would emphasize and prioritize partnerships. “In the face of global economic and technological uncertainty,” Nadella writes, “we reset our mission, reprioritized our culture, and built or rebuilt strategic partnerships in order to solidify the foundation of our business. We also needed to hasten our innovative spirit and place new, bold bets.”

NewWave has become one of those bold bets and a trusted Microsoft strategic partner, particularly in our work with the federal government. NewWave attained Microsoft’s Gold Partner status back in December 2017 and with our mission of “Solving for the Greater Good” we didn’t stop there. NewWave, not unlike Nadella’s vision, has embarked on a journey to further enrich our partnership with Microsoft. To that end, NewWave as an enterprise was recently on-boarded as a Direct Seller for Microsoft. In addition to our leading-edge system integration and solution services, we now sell:

   • Example: Office 365 licenses (both in Commercial and Government cloud)
2. Usage-based services
   • Example: Azure services (both in Commercial and Government cloud)
3. Software subscriptions

Having attained Microsoft’s Direct Seller and Azure Government Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) status, NewWave can now serve our federal government customers even better. For example, for a client looking to migrate their on-premise applications to the Azure cloud–whether it’s a “lift-and-shift or a cloud-first modernization effort to better leverage managed services – NewWave can now procure Azure subscriptions with quicker turnaround times, evaluate the cloud services available and deliver seamless service.

Simply put, NewWave is singularly prepared to provide the most effective and efficient cloud solutions to the federal government. Microsoft Cloud for Government enables public sector customers in the United States—from large federal agencies to small town governments—to select from a range of cloud computing services. To best address its customers’ specific needs, Microsoft has made a significant investment in data centers and is dedicated to meeting compliance with US federal and state policies, mandates, and requirements. NewWave delivers this value now to the federal government and is poised to provide it to any governing entity with our unique partnership with Microsoft.
