NewWave Awarded $18M Contract With Adobe

NewWave was recently awarded a five-year, $17.8 million SPARC 8(a) task to continue its support of the CMS Marketplace Notice Production Services (MNPS) supporting the Health Insurance Marketplace (HIM) and other outreach related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  By combining our experience at CMS with Adobe Federal Systems, Team NewWave will continue our work to enhance CMS’ capabilities for the Federally-Facilitated Marketplace (FFM). Over the last 2+ years, we have successfully generated 3 million notices per month to Marketplace consumers, processed 14,000 requests per month for Marketplace Exemptions and Appeals, and processed 800 to 1,400 requests electronically through our Issuer Onboarding application. We also provided CMS the capability of generating over one million notices on an ad-hoc basis.  We look forward to supporting CMS’ efforts to provide business processes to the mobile workforce and users, provider, agents, and insurers, increase productivity through broadened access to differing user equipment, such as desktops, smartphones, and tablets.  Of note is an optional contract CLIN to provide Adobe SME support outside of the ACA Health Insurance Marketplace. All CMS center and offices can utilize this optional CLIN to procure similar or customized Adobe services to meet their needs.
