NewWave Designated as Subcontractor for $44M DCCA Contract In Support of MACFin

Elkridge, MD — Team NewWave will serve as a subcontractor to Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), on the award of a 5-year, $44 million-dollar contract to support the development of the Medicaid and CHIP Financial System (MACFin) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). MACFin will be a single comprehensive system that will subsume the roles of both the MBES/CBES and IBNRS, along with other financial rudimentary processes, providing a platform for future enhancements, while supporting the necessary O&M requirements until MACFin is operational. NewWave will provide support for testing of the new MACFIN system. This task was competed as a small business set aside on CMS SPARC.
