Team NewWave was awarded the $70 million BOSC (Business Operations Support Center) contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to provide a range of IT, help desk/call center and business operations support services for the Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Program, CMS Shared Savings Programs, ACO, and Innovation Models.
With this award, NewWave continues to expand their service desk portfolio at their award-winning Customer Engagement Center, which also provides support for the Physician Quality Program that processes over 20,000 health incidents per year.
On the BOSC contract team NewWave will merge past performance with new technology to drive CMS’ initiatives forward and improve the quality of Healthcare for many in the United States.
“Solving challenges in Healthcare is something our team at NewWave is passionate about, because it directly impacts the lives of many. With the BOSC win comes a new opportunity for our team to collaborate and customize our approach to provide the best in innovation to serve CMS,” said Patrick Munis, CEO of NewWave.
This win comes on the heels of NewWave having secured the Systems Integrator contract with the MACBIS Program in FY18, where NewWave is actively modernizing the Children’s Health Insurance Program as the first System Integrator in Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS) history at CMS.
Team NewWave is very excited to support CMS on the BOSC contract and will continue solving for the greater good in Healthcare to improve health outcomes across the US.
