One Connect Salesforce Lightning Application Implementation
Our work with the CMS Innovation Center provided an opportunity for NewWave to optimize CMMI infrastructure and reduce technical debt by consolidating the number of CMMI Salesforce applications in use by CMMI. Within one year of operation, NewWave successfully lowered the number of Salesforce applications from 93 to 35, thereby reducing total cost of maintenance.
NewWave’s Salesforce Practice continued this innovation with a plan to implement one unified application as an umbrella app for all CMMI innovation models. This application allows CMMI team members to securely connect and collaborate with partners, answer questions, access files, and receive self-service support all within one authenticated portal.
NewWave’s team presented and delivered the Salesforce Umbrella Community to CMMI, successfully migrating the data for all CMMI model applications and reducing the current Connect footprint from 34 individual Classic applications to 1 Lighting community, eliminating approximately $326K in legacy Salesforce licenses for our customer.
